Workspace-Service Relationship

1. Each workspace has one or more service API groups mapped to it. Services can be understood as individually packaged capabilities that align with how F5 Distributed Cloud (F5XC) sells and structures various product offerings. The complete list of services is available in the page Catalog accessible from the homepage.

2. A single workspace will typically contain multiple services. As a result, various service API groups will be included in one workspace role to ensure proper functionality. For example, the WAAP workspace roles would include the following service API groups:

   • Web App & API Protection
   • Secure Mesh
   • Site Management
   • DNS
   • Bot Defense
   • Client-Side Defense
   • Content Delivery Network
   • Malware Protection

3. The same service may appear in more than one workspace. Therefore, the same service API groups will be included in multiple workspace roles. For example, the "DNS service" appears in both the "DNS Management" workspace and the "Distributed Apps" workspace.
