Objective

This reference guide provides helpful information on the various types of events supported by F5® Distributed Cloud Console. You can use the event information to understand your deployed resource operations and perform any required actions.

You can view all events by navigating to the Multi-Cloud Network Connect workspace and selecting Notifications > Events.

To adjust the event data displayed, click the selector and select from when to grab the data. Then, click Apply.

Column Descriptions

The following are the columns and their descriptions:

  • Time: This column provides a timestamp for when the event was generated.
  • Resource Type: This column indicates what type of resource. For example, a Customer Edge (CE) Site.
  • Event Type: This column indicates the type of event. For example, if your CE Site is awaiting registration, failed, or is online.
  • Description: This column provides a detailed description of each event. For certain events, you can click View Details for more details. A side modal window appears, where you can inspect the JSON.
  • User: This column indicates which user received the event. The user can be an individual or the system.
  • Namespace: This column indicates in which namespace the event occurred. This can be the System namespace or another custom namespace.

Note: The table below only displays two columns, Event Type and Resource Type. The other columns are not displayed in this reference guide since they may include sensitive information about each tenant as well as node and CE Site names. However, in Distributed Cloud Console, all the columns are displayed.
